per-suede [purr-swayed]
(verb)
1. an intentional reference to the properly spelled "persuade," in which I hope you are encouraged to imagine wearing/using/living with something made just for you.
2. suede is an amalgam of my first and last names (sue+de) -- therefore this shop is "per suede".
3. you can't choose your nickname, and since this one is still with me, I might as well put it to good use.
Also, like most creative souls, I'm a bit restless and may be persuaded to try many things in the pursuit of authentic adornment = wearing something that makes you feel the most like you.
Whether I'm making jewelry, a card you send to a friend, or the pillow you love to lean into on the couch, it should belong to you as if it was made for you. Cause in a way, it was. Even though neither of us knew it at the time.
